When most mattresses could be turned over, the conventional wisdom was that you should flip twice a year and take the opportunity to clean it too. Nowadays, many mattresses, including the variety of cushions, can not be turned because they have a suitable upper and lower part. But cleaning your mattress twice a year remains a good rule of thumb.
Start the cleaning process by removing the mattress from all linens and bedding and flushing items to wash.
Then vacuum the entire surface of the mattress with the upholstery accessory of your vacuum cleaner. Pay attention to the seams, where dirt, dust, dead skin and other disgusting things accumulate; Changing to the fit of your vacuum cleaner can help you dive deep.
Then deodorize the mattress by sprinkling baking soda across the surface. Especially if this is your first cleaning, do not be afraid to empty a whole box of 1 kilo if needed on the mattress.
